Lets try this again
Saw this on the news yesterday. Some smuck was speeding around 25 mile in shelby twp on the freeway, saw a cop in the median clocking people, slammed on the breaks, lost control of the car, and slammed into the officers patrol truck.
It was a black grand am gt with tinted windows! By the way both cars were totalled!!!
NOTE: for those who are wondering where their posts went, its my tread and I can do as I please, if more flaming prosist I will delete it again. Deal with it!

How is everyone that was involved? That really sucks. People should learn to drive somewhat responsibly. Even if you speed dont be careless and slam on the breaks. Take the ticket and stay alive.

1. Arctic, Sorry man. Just when people do as they did, it is one of the VERY few things that gets under my skin.
2. Anything on how these people are? The trooper wasnt injured?

Yeah, I saw that accident. I was driving my truck at work and got stuck in the traffic jam it created. Went right by it. Both cars were in pretty bad shape. I couldn't believe how much damage the GA did to that supposedly big safe SUV. Anyway, just one more reminder to people to be careful on the road, no matter what you're driving.

I would like to know why my reply was deleted please? Nothing I said was really all that offensive. I think that was taking moderating a little extreme in my opinion. If I dont really care for police officers that my right. I didnt say anything demeaning about officers of the law. Too many times I have been harrassed by them and seen others harrassed by them while they drive by me half dozen times in need of help at 11 pm and cant stop. The deletion of my reply I dont feel was necessary. By the way I also have a relative who is a police officer before anyone starts telling me how they have a family member that is in law enforcement.

ArcticGT, I didnt see that you reposted this thread before I replied again. I was not aware that there were any kind of problems going on with the thread. I was under the impression that the thread was being moderated. My bad on that one. I am sorry that there has been problems with the thread. It seems there has been more "fighting" going on around here lately then there normally is. Hell, more then I can recall ever being before. Normally people around this site stick together for the most part. I hope we can get back to that, especially with GAP approching. Anyway, dont mean to get off topic. Hopefully things get better for you with the thread ArcticGT. Once again I didn't mean to stir anything up with post. I am not one to delete my post as you really dont know how many people read it already. So I ll just apologize. Good luck my fellow GA owner.

Your greatfullness that the police officers car was uncalled for. Wishing bad will on other people tends to causes further aggression by others and thats exactly what happened. And if you feel the deletion of your post was unfair, take it up with a moderator. I am not one and since there were multiple cases in which I felt posts were uncalled for, which were caused by yours, the only way to remove them by myself was to delete the tread and repost it. Once again if you have a problem with it take it up with a moderator, but I am pretty sure you wouldn't get very far with them!

You know I tried to apolgize for anything that I may have said that upset anyone. But I guess that didnt go anywhere. If I dont care for police officers that my right. I didnt say anything wishing ill will on the officer himself/herself. People have a right to express their opinions. As for as far as I will get. I will say two things and leave it at that. I have known Jeremy for some time now and followed this site since its aol days. I also have stood up or Jeremy when many others have decided to "ride" his a$$ about this site. Again I didnt say anything bad about the officer themself.

OK, I am good if your good. As I said I dont want to cause any problems here. I am glad we settled it quickly. Also, I dont want people to take what I am saying about officers as a free for all to wish ill will on them. That wasnt what it was all about. I just wish sometimes they could do their job a little differently but NEVER wish harm on police officers. They are human beings just like anyone else.
