It's here!

I promise to have a few pics up in the coming days, but work has just been a killer. The only bright spot in the day was I got to pick up my new 2003 Indi Blue MINI Cooper S. It had all of 11 miles on it when I picked it up all shiny, waiting for me.

I found a nice new home for my Grand AM. She will be happy with her new family, and I am happy with my new car.

So, if anyone in and around Cincinnati/Dayton see's a Dark Blue MINI with a white roof, white rims, and white stripes......it might be me. :-)

I pulled this info off of the MINI site regarding the supercharger

The supercharger used on the 'S' engine is an Eaton roots-type blower, possibly the M45 model, and it compresses the air drawn in by the engine to an overpressure of 0.8 bar [11.6 psi].

11.6 psi from a M-45!! Damn!! That has to be its peak.

Nice, my buddy here at work has the same exact car. Very interesting interior IMO, it's suprisingly larger then it looks inside..

I'm sure it is a quality car since it has the BMW roots ;) have fun with it!

And as promised, here are a couple pictures of the car. It's supposed to be nice here for the next couple of days, so it just got a bath too.

Blue is almost the same as our Envoy, but a bit brighter I guess.

And no burnouts......at least until 1200 miles. Gotta keep it under 4K RPMs.

Now I just need to become a natural manual driver.

I've got a 6spd Getrag now. Yeah baby!

There are a few things I'd like to do, but for the most part, keep it stock. Windows would be a good thing, I just need a very very good shop, with good tint to do it, no possibility of a mess up. I've heard the Borla for it is an amazing sound too. Especially with a K&N intake.

But, nothing for now.

Oh - and the name of the movie is the Italian Job, and MINI owners in Cincinnati get a private screening on the 29th. The whole theater to ourselves.
