Its this Memorial Day weekend....just wondering if anyone here is going?? I will be, just don't know exactly when yet.
Its definately a great time...should be bigger (if possible, heh) and better than last year too.

i'd be there all 3 days, but i gotta help kelly move. first time ive ever missed it :\ Im gonna try and make it to richie hawtin on sunday though.

Yeah, I thought I'd call it by what most people know it by instead of saying, who's going to the Movement Festival, heh.
Sucks you'll miss it. I still gotta see the schedule and figure out when I'm gonna go. The MGAC meet is Saturday too, so that'll take up most of my time.

I'll be there. I bought tickets to the "Musik Dek" on the roof of the Pontchatrain Hotel (saturday). That way I can have some elbow room and drinks delivered to me while I chill pool side and watch the party below! I am excited about going! I'm goona go to Envy for the after party too....Tickets to the roof party at the Pontchatrain are cheap too.....check it out at the link below!! Hope to see you there!

Damn, $20 not bad at all!! Hmm, I'll definately have to see what my friends want to do, that sounds like a better idea to me :)
Thats what I'm sayin' You wont have to be all crammed in with a buntch of dirty lil ravers! lol You can just chill and probably see better than most....and $20 for a private party is CHEAP!

is this fri-sun or sat-mon, the movement site shows sat-mon while the Muzik dek shows fri-sun. The Muzik Dek sounds like a good time and tickets are pretty good.

by the way, anyone know the difference between that vip thing and the musicdek? i really want to do one or the other. does the vip include the musicdek party or is that separate?

Busier than last year??? WTF??? I couldn't imagine that! I went last year to see George Clinton on the main stage. Could not even get close! We ended up sitting on top of the Channel 7 van until they kicked us off. Then we went up to the DJ stage and danced on top of the concrete pillars until AGAIN getting kicked-off!
Unfortunately I'll be out of town this weekend :( ... going back to PA to see the folks.
What is up with this CRAP weather forcast>>>???

rain, shine, snow, sleet, ice, hail, etc. it doesn't matter, i'll still be there. just think, if it rains, maybe some women will be wearing some white t-shirts without bras :thumbs:

I'll be there 2morrow night. I didn't get tix to the Musik Dek...I dunno if I still can. If I can, I'm gonna try for there, if not, I'll be somewhere in the craziness.
