I bought my car used, and the paint wasnt in very good condition. I finally decided to spend a day fixing the paint. First I washed it with dawn. Then I claybared (What a difference it made!!!). Then i washed with dawn again, dried it, and got busy zymoling. I also did the water trick it says on the bottle, and yes it does make a difference!!!
Any ways, now my paint looks brand new, the zymol took almost all of my paint swirls out, and since I claybarred theres no crap in the paint.
So if you don't wanna pay a lot for zaino, get zymol it is seriously the shiniest ive ever seen a black car (and it smells good too lol)
so I give zymol

Zymol's pretty good stuff, love the coconut smell. Just finished claybarring, cleaning the interior, and zymoling my managers car. Paint wasn't the greatest condition, but it didn't leave any oily crap like Maguries. Shines nicely.

do you think you could ever stop dissing maguiar's for just one second. just cuz u dont like it doesnt mean you have to talk crap about it every post thats in this section. some people actually like it, me included

When I want to be.
Here, I'll tell you what. Once everyone stops posting about how they love *** or how they hate ***, then that will the day that I stop 'dissing' maguries.
I'm sorry, but the crap doesn't last (2 weeks tops for me) and it leaves an oily residue on the surface. Why would I want someone putting that junk on their car to begin with? I can name at least 4 other brands that they can substitute for it.

well just cuz other people are talking about how they love this or hate this, does that mean that you have to do the same as well?
well in my opinion it lasts for quite some while. i just washed my car yesterday, and its still shining extremely well, and its been quite some time since i waxed last. and i have no idea about the oily residue that ur talking about. magiuars is the best product by far in my opinion

Not to jump on the bandwagon so to speak, but I too was dissapointed by maguires. We did my sisters with it and within 2 months (summer) it was gone and we had to do it again. It also was not a very even finish. I mean to me spending the extra money to get something to protect my car is well worth it, and it turned out awesome.

2 months? thats not exactly a short amount of time, especially if youve had much rain and other weather conditions around

Actually it was a very unrainy summer, and when I say there was no wax left, I mean there was abesolutely nothing left. Also, even when it was on there, the finish still didn't have all that great of a shine to it. After we did it with the mothers stuff, it looked a lot better, but can't compare to the results I got on my car with the zymol.
Im not trying to diss it or ne thing, im just stating my personal experince with it, if you like it, keep using it. For me, with the zymol, this is the best ive seen a car look after a waxing.

Well if 2 months is a long time for you I'd hate to hear what you think about 5-6 months.
2 Coats of Zaino, Beginning of November - sometime in April. Washed a total of 3 times, each time salt from the road had been sitting on my car for intrevals of 2-3 weeks... How long would your Maguries last?
Sorry, but there are much better products. Try Zymol... Easy on, easy off... Lasts almost as long as Zaino and has a nice shine.

i never said 2 months is a long time, but if a wax lasts 2 months then its a fairly good product. letting salt sit on your car for that long, even with the best protection on your car, is going to take its toll on the finish eventually
