St. Louis get together

How many people were you expecting? There were 2 gatherings last year, each between 5-10 people showed up.

i honestly didn't know... i was just going to see what kind of responce this got since it hasn't been discussed in awhile... i think it would be better if we could get more then 5 people but whatever happens happens

Here's a thought for you all. The POCI is having the national Pontiac Okland Club International Convention in Collinsville the second week in July. I'm planning to take the BonnEvil and Cindy's GAGT to it. (www.poci.org ,I think, check under Convention, not events) I know Pontiac is bring at least one of the only two 2004 GTO's that are in the US. Should be a Great time. Of course, The Great River Road to Grafton is hard to beat any nice weekend...

My thoughts exactly.
On a side note, is their a public display on the cars for that POCI show? I didnt see it listed, but wouldnt miss a chance to see the new GTO.

So is this a dead issue now? Seems like a few people want to have a meet, but no one has any ideas on when and where. Here are a couple of ideas just to see if this is really a dead issue:
1. Meet somewhere near Alton, have a little show and shine, then cruise the river road a few miles, maybe stop and eat up north in one of those little towns (the names slip my mind right now).
2. The old standard, Creve Couer park.
3. A less populated park, like the one off on Ashby in St Ann.

Well, those are some ideas, any one want to chime in?

I'd vote for meeting in Alton, (Yes, I live there... Forgive me.) and taking a nice drive up the Great River Road to Grafton for lunch at say... The Loading Dock, nice spot, good food, great view of the river. Yep, that's my vote. Anyone else?

Hey, Summer is nearly done and we're racing into fall! Is anyone still interested in a get together / cruise up the River Road? Maybe Sept 13th, it's a Saturday, (Sunday, the 14th is the Edwardsville DARE Car Show. Good car show!) Next two weekends are no good for me, out of town (Goodguys KC and Street Machine Fall Nats) 6 & 7, wife has to work... Lets try to do something before the snow starts to fly again! Anyone?
