My car is totalled...

Wrecked it yesterday on the way to work, spent 4 hours in the hospital & had to take a taxi home :(

I was driving to work when a car transporter truck deceided to change into my lane while I was in his blind spot. It was raining & the wheels locked right up & bam! Slammed right into the right hand corner of his trailor. My Spec is lowered so the whole engine bay basically was ripped in. It sucks to see the header & AEM intake all mangled up :( It was a fun 7 months of owning this ride & I'll prob lose money on this wreck. I'm all hopped up on pain pills so I'm gonna go to sleep.

Damn that sucks. At least you weren't seriously hurt. I hope the insurance company doesn't try to screw you over. My insurance company is trying to screw me over when a lady hit my car. Hell she even admitted to it, she has the same insurance company that I do. I just hope all that stuff gets sorted out and you get what you deserve.

I have some advise for the insurance... I've been thru that mess b4. If it was bolted to the car, you can put it on their tab. Also, they may try calling soon and getting you to settle... DON"T TAKE ANY MONEY until you are sure about the amount. Too much to type... give me a ring.

Thanx everybody :) I hope to be back on the road soon, but the new vehicle is still a mystery... :o Being car-less is gonna be a major PITA for a while. Hopefully my rental will be a decent car.. D'oh!!

Thanx guys, it's Tuesday & I'm back to work. Thanks for all the luv.. I'm sporting my little bro's 1.8T this week, so it's not that bad. But I've got an annoying little bubble of stress in my gut. Hopefully this all works out in my favor, but I won't know until the police report comes in. You just never know.. :(

I'm waiting on my insurance comp to appraise the damage, both of the bodyshops it has been too have said it was a total loss :( I'm hoping it is a total, because it will never be the same car again.. :(

On the new car outlook, I've been looking at a Red Dodge SRT-4. Payment's work out good, but I have to see about any increases in my insurance & what-not. But, the SRT-4 looks like it will be my new ride if my car is a total loss..
