How do I take the black plastic piece of above the speedo and tach? I have the 2 screws out but pull as hard as I might it won't come out. I don't wanna break it... Thanks

If you are talking about taking the black plastic outing apart, then you will notice on the sides of the gauges, there are these little black things that you push in. Push all the little black plastic things in and then pull the cluster apart.

I think that is what you are talking about?

This is on the outside attached to the dash. It's actually the top ring around the gauges. The screws were inserted straight up. I will check for the tabs I think you are right.. Thanks again
