Yeah last year there was a girl from Ohio there with a white GA with *** kit, then Ryan Moreno with his red car and another guy (sorry, I forget his name) with a silver car, both with *** kits and air ride suspensions. I was the white supercharged GA parked near the red and silver cars.
Hey Frank, I'll deffinitly come by the booth to talk to ya and check out the car. See you there.:)

I just got back...great show!! Frank your car is :wow: freakin awesome!! Can't wait to get my ride at GAP, hehe. And, his wing DOES NOT LOOK BAD AT ALL!!! It goes VERY well with the car! :D
Anyway, I should have pics up 2day or 2morrow. I tried to get a variety of pics. There were a few GAs there...Aaron, Frank, some guy from Ontario...said he use to come here last year & Moreno.
Met Len & Susanna too. They were there with the Betty Racer and also mentioned a meet here 2morrow at one of the Hines Parks, she said she'd post about it, here or mgac.com...
Also, the American Tuner GA was there too. Overall pretty good show

Yes, the show was awesome! I had a blast there. The quality of cars (and girls) there was much better than last year. Even with everything I've done to the car the last few months I still didn't place. I might have placed against last years competition but not this years. I have my work cut out for me for next year. I'll have to don the mad scientist lab coat next winter.;) The betty racer took first place. I guess I can't compete against a supercharged V8 rwd conversion. Kinda not fair to have a shop owned concept car competing against someones daily driver either though. The car's sweet but after looking at it close up there's still some things I don't like about it.
I loved Frank's car, that thing was sweet. The carbon fiber hood and wing were awesome and the lamborghini blue paint is a real eye catcher. Really enjoyed talking to the guys from RSM too. Everyone was really freindly and gave me lots of info (even though I talked to them for like 2 hours;) ). Sorry guys, didn't mean to monopolize your time. I think I'm a big RSM fan now though.:D I'm planning on buying their ported heads. Got a real close look at the american tuner GA too. It's a really nice car but the things I like the most on it are the front bumper and the tail lights. I want those tail lights so bad!!! Unfortunatly it was the only GA that GM had on display. Most were cavaliers and sunfires, with a few vibes thrown in and one malibu. Looks like GM is pretty much ignoring the GA.

In looking at Nikkis pics, perhaps my eyes are playing tricks on me...but did that Betty Racer GA have STOCK BRAKES?? I mean come on...we warp them with a stock V6. I can't imagine they'd last 5 mins on a car set up like that. wtf

Man, good thing I didn't put my car in the show. I was thinking about it, but my car is no where near the show quality considering the competition I woulda had! Looks like it was really fun though, wish I coulda came! RSM guys--hope to be seein ya next year with $6k..:D

Hey guys i was down there and Chatted with Len and susanna and also went to there meet on hines dr it was cool too..
As for the show it was good most of the GM car like len's G57 aka betty racer, they the judges ARE DUMB! and put all the moded GAGT or ga's in the same GM OTHER.. Well of corse len's & susanna car will win , SOME bigs mods there...
Seen that GP it was nice.. Seen ryans red GAGT.
the show was good, but IMO they should have A GM sec. like N-body then f-body & so on.. that way some one can compete at the same level....
Well i'll see u guys around prob. at gratiot when it warmer and not rainning...

Yes it did. Not only that, but the spindles were modified to move the calipers to the back of the brakes, to make room to connect the steering arms to the front of the spindles. They had to move the steering rack forward to make room for the bottom of the V8. It's a tight fit, and the engine has to sit very low in order to get under the hood and for the trans and drive shaft to clear. It's an impressive accomplishment, but I wouldn't trust it to be very strong on a street car.

I got a question Does Anyone know how betty got the brake to be backwards? and as for being a street race, well i guess u have seen it run...
