Power locks dead in storm???? >>

Ah, my cars starting to freak me out... Today, I got caught in a major down poor. When I got out, I tried to close the car door as fast as possible, however, the inside panel got wet and the switches. When I went to open my window after I got back in the car, the window wouldn't roll down.. It worked fine earlier, and then it didn't. I got home and took a hairdryer and dried the switch and after about an hour of sitting in the garage it worked again. My car is still under warranty, should I take it in? Is this normal? I always thought that stuff was somewhat water proof. Please let me know.

Hmmmmmmmmm I dooon't know... If my car was doing something it's not supposed to do I think I would take it to the dealer, but that's just me....

I don't know if this is a common thing w/ these cars. It's never done this before... I thought maybe water just got in there. I didn't know if this stuff was water proof or not.

No it's not a normal occurance. Sounds like the plastic thing that covers the hole in the door is loose or something. Just take it in and explain what you told us. When in doubt, take it to the dealer.
