After sifting through the search results for spark plug wires I am no better off than when I started. There is no definitive result for pricey wires nor much consistency in any performance. So if I want something that is a little less than the $42 8mm Taylor's from PFYC does anyone have a solution? Thanks

Just about any name brand wire will work. For that matter, you could even pick up a universal "build your own" set of Accel 8mm wires at Pep Boys for $30.

Wires are wires. Regardless of the name or price, they'll break down and you'll need to replace them anyway.

As for performance, you aren't going to see or feel anything...

Try summitracing.com

There are several brands that you can get universal sets to for less than $42. I've also seen cheap universal sets on ebay. Actually you can go to any parts store and get their in house 8mm wires pretty inexpensively too, but you don't get a color choice.

Like Craig said a plug wire is a plug wire. Get spiral core for radio interference suppression.

I guess I should have said in the first message that I'm not looking for anything I have to make adjustments on. I want to buy them and then install them, not looking to do any cutting or resizing whatsoever. Greed4Speed should Pep Boys or Autozone be able to give me a few choices that will fit as they are?

They should. I've ran the Autozone wires on a El Crapino I had. They were actually pretty nice wires. They're red if you like that color. They held up better than the Accel wires that were on it before. Bosch usually has precut wires in autopart stores also. I'd think that any wire set for the 3800 would work on the 3400 also. I may have to check that out.
