Ok guys, I debadged my "GRAND AM GT" emblems and the "RAM AIR V6" ones today. The Ram air v6 ones were fine, you couldn't even tell that they were ever on there when I got them off. However, my "Grand AM GT" ones, you could see an outline of them. I used a lot of goo gone and it got most of it gone, but then the paint there was lighter than the rest. So, I took some Scratch out by Kit put that on there to get some of that light hazing out, then I put some Z1 Zaino, and Z2 on there, let it sit for about an hour, then I wiped it off and put Z6 on there. The car looks good now. Did do everything right? Did anyone else have a problem with the paint being a little lighter where those badges once were? Please let me know

Jeff

Yea, I mentioned that in one of the earlier posts how its kind of like a shadowy outline. I was concerned about that as well. The guru himself assured me that it will go away w/ a couple washings.

Try using a claybar , but make sure you put some Polish/Wax on afterwards (since it takes it all off)

How old is your car? Yes, if your car is older, it's natural to have fading cuz it's exposed to all the earths elements.
Happens especially with darker color vehicles.. Good thing for white cars :)
