Just wondering what your Favorite Era of the Corvette is?

C1: 1953 - 1962 (http://www.50yearsofcorvette.com/story_list_by_era.php?era=C1%3A%20%9253-%9262)
C2: 1963 - 1967 (http://www.50yearsofcorvette.com/story_list_by_era.php?era=C2%3A%20%9263-%9267)
C3: 1968 - 1982 (http://www.50yearsofcorvette.com/story_list_by_era.php?era=C3%3A%20%9268-%9282)
C4: 1984 - 1996 (http://www.50yearsofcorvette.com/story_list_by_era.php?era=C4%3A%20%9284-%9296)
C5: 1997 - 2003 (http://www.50yearsofcorvette.com/story_list_by_era.php?era=C5%3A%20%9297-%9203)

My favorite was the C3 Era...Definatly my favorite of all the Styles made!

2nd is the C5 Era
3rd would be C2
4th ~~> C1
Last would be C4...wasn't the biggest fan of this bodytype!

Since I grew up around corvettes I've sort have changed my taste with each era vette my dad had owned. First was the '61 convertable, then the 77 T-Tops, then a '73 convert., then an '88 convert, '94 Convert, and finally the '78 Pace Car.

To tell you the truth I've liked the era in which my dad owned at the time. Guess it doesn't matter since I'd settle for any one of them :)

1970 in the C-3 era

Chrome in front and out back- with a whole lot of fun in between !

Quote: "Together with luxury, engine size is escalated. What was once an L88 427 is now an LS454 with trick aluminum, “open-chamber” heads and 465 horsepower. You immediately notice that the 3x two-barrel setup is gone, superseded by an 800 CFM Holley four-throat. The Holley simplifies things like response and linkage. "

Call me old school, but this is the corvette I would own.

As far as a bad-ass era... the current Vette is the quickest, fastest, and most well-made of all time. I would love to get a 1959 in honor of my Dad though.

I like 'em all except the C3's. I just think they're kinda ugly.

If I HAD to name a favorite, I'd go with the C1's, specifically the '58s. They look sweet.

Hands down for the C5 ZO6, followed by C2 and C3 era. Wasn't much of a fan of the C4 era though, but would take 1 without hesitation :)

1958 for sure, my uncle has one, its a white convertiable that is just outstanding. Not one flaw with it. Its actually better then factory as he had the convertable top redone, and for those who might not know the tops didn't line up right with the windsheild, but his does!:)

C4 Gran Sport

1953 only 300 made and go for 100,000 plus in A1 condition.

C-4 for em. I like the old ZR-1. With very few (under $500.00) a ZR-1 can be soooo much faster than a Zo-6. Stock they are bout the same. I like the old look though.

For a sweet and classy ride, definately a C2. For a peformance machine, ZO6 with a twinturbo charge option from Lingenfelter. If I had the money, I could travel just 25 minutes from my house to his shop.

I gotta vote for the C1.

My uncle has a 59 vette and riding in this car gave me the love I now have for the automobile. His is a red/white convertible and is amazing. Its not mint but he has had it over 30 years and continues to drive it regularly. I'm hoping I can parlay and end up with it eventually and fix the few things it need to be perfect.

My dad owns a 78 vette and sure its pretty cool, but for me its all about the 63-67 models. I don't know exactly why but its jut something about the complex styling that works for me.
