probably a stupid question, but i have meguires polish, and meguires wax, and i was wondering, do you do just 1 coat each, or is it like the more coats you put on the better? Also, for the polish, do i wipe it off almost immediately, or do i wait for it to dry like on the wax...

I think that with Meguiars polish you wipe on.. rub it in, then wipe off before it dries.

Not sure what benefit you will see by doing multiple coats of MeGuiars products. I only ever used one coat when I had it... I figured if I had to re-apply it every month (as per their website), I would just be wasting my time with multiple coats.

Not exactly topic friendly but... I've never used Maguiar's wax, but a buddy of mine tried it out and he claimed it didn't have much of a life span on his truck. Water stopped beading after a couple of weeks and the shine didn't hold up. Maguiar's polish and paint cleaners work great with Liquid Glass. I waxed over a month ago and after a wash it looks as good as the day I waxed it.

Only do 1-coat of polish & then wax (as many coats as you like later-on, within reason).

If you were to polish again, the polish would take/strip-off the wax.

With wax (not the polymer stuff though, but the ploymer stuff lasts longer) you can put multiply coatings on it for more protection.
