Now Back in Providence, RI

Well after I graduated from college I took all my stuff back to my parents house in RI. Then went back to PA to finish my flying. Got that done and then went to Texas for a few days. Getting there was interesting. Left an hour late, got lost due to Indianapolis's crappy detour signs. turned around hit a racoon, then dodged a deer minutes later. ran out of gas due to a now busted gas guage. got to texas 5 hours past sheduale. the next night my car was in a hail storm. then the morning i left my car was struck by lighting. so needless to say the driving part of the trip sucked big time. but the time there was great.

o ya and everyone in Rhode Island, I am here for a few months so hit me up. I need stuff to do.

Glad you finally got there, but how do you know your car was struck by lightning?

well when i went to my car after the thunderstorm got over. which was a few minutes i noticed that there was a perfect circle on my roof completly dry. i dont know for sure it was struck but that is the only thing i can think of.

can you take a picture of it? thats incredibly interesting... you always see lightning but never know what its hitting, one time it struck and broke into half a bench in my back yard... i saw lightning hit a transformer and it burst into sparks... saw lightning hit something in the distance and flames shoot out of it... lightning hit a gas station i was at and the power went out...

no i cant take a pic of if. it happened a few weeks ago and i have drivin the car 3000 miles since then.

but i will admit it was really weird to see.

ohhh i see what you meant, it was dry no water while it was raining i see.. the discharge of the lightning would have done some serious damage and or disbursed over the entire body of the car i would imagine.. wonder what it was

Wouldn't it have killed your electrical system in the car? I saw a car get hit with lighting infront of me, and his car turned off...
