rib Question

I am thinking about taking off the side ribs on my 2000 ga se 4dr. What do you guys think of it? Anyone have any pics without the ribs? :cheers:

some people like it, some dont. all u need is some fishing line and maybe a hair dryer or hot day to pull it off. i like mine on now, cause the new ga's come without it so i like to be remembered as one that came with them. they dont bother me. just search for "deribbed" or "ribs" and u should find some pics

Like UNC0808 said, the new 4 door se's don't have ribs. Wouldn't it just be easier to go to a dealership and look at it yourself? if not, there's enough of them out there already.

If you decide to take them off, It's very easy. I just did mine an hour ago hahaha....
I started off with a heatgun, then ended up not using it. It doesn't really help, and it's only like 65 outside. The glue will actually release better in the cold, not with heat. And i just peeled the tape off... (there's a strip at the top and bottom). Then went over it with some solvant to get rid of the crud, and waxed! looks great.. I'll have pics of the car up tomorrow.
