I am newer to the forums, and have been reading a lot. No doubt about it- you guys (and gals) know your stuff. Here’s my question... Is there a way to switch which lights actually illuminate while the DRL's are on? Meaning, can I not have the normal DRL light come on, but instead, have the fog lamps light when the normal DRL would?
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks in advance for your assistance,
-Nick

so during the day you want the fogs to be on all the time and the drl's off? i dont know if that would happen. u would have to hood the day/night sensor to the foglight wires and then you would have to mess with the bcm. maybe it can be done, maybe it cant, but if i were u i would wait for another drl kit to come out or something.
just tape over the auto sensor under the dash vent and your lights will always be on unless you put them to parking lights. and then your fogs and your parking lights can come on. that's what i did at least. works good for me. i would always ride with my parking lights and fogs anyways

UNC the 99s and 2000s are the ones that can't do it.
It's possible to do anything you want electrically... The trick is not getting your SVS to come on. If you don't mind the SVS, I suggest clipping the DRL coil control from the BCM, or yanking the DRL relay. Then do the fogs + high's mod and you are good to go.

I think Frank (TO2FST) has a DRL kit on his '99GASE2 [that was what it started as].
I seen him drive by once, with no DRL but his fogs (& parking lights, I think).
It look good & sounded good (especially since he has a RSM supercharger)
