I replaced my stock fog light bulbs with some Eurolites...it wasnt until they came in the mail that i realized...the Eurolites are rated at 37.5 watts and the stock bulbs are 27 watts. Is this too much wattage for the stock harness?

No problems, and I've had 37.5 watts bulbs in for a little over 2 months now.

Wouldn't that fry the stock wires??
I can't imagine 100W fogs, IIRC Blazers are 55W and they are pretty damn bright.
I've had my Blazers on stock wires for about 4 years and they've been fine.

In the process of upgrading to Silverstars, but I broke one of the bulb retainer O rings. :(

yeah, but dont those fogs come w a wiring harness w/ a relay? USE IT! use the purple wire from your stock fog harness and the white wire to the realy.. throw the switch that is included away... wiring themup shouldnt take more than 10min... super super easy... and dont wast your money on SS fogs, they will burn up very very fast... should do some research, its widely known...

plus, you cant fit 100Wers in the stock housing....

so stanjk3 and magyver , i just bought today blazer tech 3200 with there 55 watt . bulbs . what in deatil do i need to do to get them hooked up . do i need to rewire with the heavier wiring and use relay etc etc . my car also is a 2000 gtgt . i'd rather not have to pay gm dealer or to install. and i know nothing about wiring . but i could do a simple light housing which with the blazer over the factory ones .

i am also install brand new silver star bulbs in the headlights. i know that some mods have to be done to the factory fog brackets to fit the blazer tech 3200's . that will be enough of a problem for me .

I also suck at wiring things so I had the dealer install them. The factory bracket won't work, they attach near the center instead of the outside. What they did was screw the bracket the came with the Blazers into the factory one. Or you could screw them into the plastic above the factory mounts.

If you plan on eventually getting higher wattage bulbs, then I'd replace the factory wiring. But if you're sticking with the included 55W bulbs you'll be fine on the stock wires.

DO NOT use the factory wires for 55W... every fog/driving kit ive ever bought came w/ a wiring harness which included a relay and switch and all /the wires to do so and all ready connected, so its real easy to do if you have a harness that they came w/...
