I just cleared my tails, and they look really sweet. I couldn't be happier with them. However, I got the JamStraight LED's. I modified them, and they work and everything. The LED's themselves are very bright, but they don't dispurse the light in the casing too well. Does anyone know of how I could get more light dispursion? I was thinking maybe like a small round mirror in front of the bulb to reflect the LED light onto the casing surface would be ok. Has anyone tried anything like this? Or am I just making no sense whatsoever? :p

spray some filmy stuff or gelly spray on the light housing inside..
that **** disperses light.. any film kinda will do that..
i wouldnt do that, cuz it'll make your tail look ghetto maybe..

jsut throwing out ideas

That might work with chrome spray paint, but i've already put them back together and i really don't want to pry them apart again. I don't wanna run the risk of cracking the lens or anything. It's not bad to the point where it bothers me a whole lot, just enough to make me want to do something to it.

During the day is the only time I have that problem...At night it glows nice and red through out.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. I don't want some cop coming up behind me, seeing that my taillights don't shine as well as they should and I get crapped on for it. I was just wondering though...

I was worried about that too, but that's why we have a 3rd brake light :)

Check out the LED bulbs at LEDtronics (http://www.ledtronics.com). They're the only LED bulbs that have LEDs angled sideways to reflect in the housing.

Be well seated though, the cost might throw you back.

HOLY BEGEEZUS, Gimli....maybe I can afford those when I hit the lottery...lol. That's exactly what I'm looking for, but I can't drop 200 bucks for four LED's. Just ain't happenin' on my poor man's budget...:p Thanks for getting all that info though, bud. Much appreciated.

I know, and they have been that expensive for over a year, no sign of them dropping in price... a shame really, cause they look like very good uality, nobody in their right mind would spend $600 to replace all the lights on a car though, they're still just frikking lights.

I've tried to get someone like PFYC to get in touch with the company to see if they can get a good deal on a large order, without success...

If they were 20 bucks a piece, I might consider them. 80 bucks for four taillights is what I believe to be overpriced, but if they're that good, I'd get them. But, no way in hell would I ever spend 50 bucks on ONE friggin taillight. Maybe someone at that company will wake up and realize that they're too expensive. ;)
