Well i had a debate today at work with a bodyshop guy. He has a grand am SE at the shop that is a customers. The guy hit a deer and wants to pay the difference for a SCT hood. First of all i told him im not sure if it will fit since it is a GT option only, but since the hoods are the exact same i dont see why it wouldnt. Second of all the guys wants to make it funtional. I told him the hood isnt funtional even on a GT, and explained how the ram air works on the GT and that the hood is appearance only. My question to anyone that knows is, is there a kit out yet to make it funtional?? Last i knew there wasnt.

Yes it does fit an SE. No it isn't functional unless you make your own ghetto setup. There isn't a kit for sale either.

But there isnt anything wrong with a ghetto set up ... it will still do the same thing as if there was one professionally made, after all, most of us arent show cars so it doesnt matter that much

The hoods will fit both the SE and GT. I was hoping there would be a functional kit but oh well. :( I was at least hoping for a cooler engine with this hood.
