Gunmetal on white

What are your guys opinions about Gunmetal, or dark colored wheels on white cars? Everyone seems to be getting chrome so I thought the dark colored would make me look diffrent. I was thinking about Gunmetal with a chrome lip. What do you guys think? Anyone one have any pics of dark colored wheels on white cars?

I think they would look good... I would have gotten gunmetal 18z, but I didnt see any I liked for my price range...

I have been looking at getting either 5 spoke or maybe 7 spoke with a nice lip on it....won't be cheap but I think they would look good and be diffrent. Still trying to find some pics...I wish I could seach cardomain for gunmetal wheels. lol

I think gunmetal are becoming more popular... So as of now, I don't think a lot if any WHITE GA's have them on their rides, so it's gonna be a search...

dark rims look horrible on most cars IMO while they are moving. It looks as if you bought a car that HAD hubcaps, but you have since lost them an now your black steel wheels are showing. If it doesn't have that visual effect, it looks like you bought some nice rims 3 years ago and have never cleaned the brake dust off of them during that period...

I think gunmetal gives cars that cop- or government-car look... not bad, but not great either.

On the other hand, some race cars look very good with that kind of contrast... that's good.

Gunmetal and darker rims are the "in" rim now. If you look at most real tuner cars and racers they generally have silver, gunmetal, black, or gold. Chrome is being left for the bling blingers due to weight and looks.

kbow has gunmetal on his white 96/97/98 model year with Intrax....looks badass

ive seen gunmetal on 2 white cavys before and it looks good especially if its lowered.

I like gunmetal wheels now. When the fad started I thought they looked like hubcaps moving too but they have since grew on me and I like them. If I run into some extra money im going to buy some gunmetal for extra wheels, they are cheaper, light, and not a pain in the ass to polish and keep clean.

Yeah I think the gunmetal's would look good. I have been thinking about this for my car lately, but I think I am going to get chrome just because my car is a bright color that stands out, I think I need wheels that stand out as well.
