Does Anyone Have A Sound Clip For A Magnaflow Exhaust With A V6?

Dr_Kyle, thanks i appreciate it. i downloaded both of them. i love the way it sounds. question though..... do you have the reasonator removed? factory cat still on there or is it a high flow?

Those video were taken after having the exhaust for only a little while. I had the factory cat and the resonator on it when these were taken. Since then it's smoothed out a little and I've had the resonator removed so it is a little louder.

i will warn u, just like the slp, the cabin noise on the magnaflow is extremly loud but still nice:)

Maybe the duals are loud, but my single setup isn't that loud. It's a couple notches louder than stock, but even with my resonator removed, its still nice inside.

Thanks for the link, I had wanted to hear a flowmaster 80 series on a GA. It actually sounds way cooler than my buddies monte carlo does with the same muffler and engine.

Heard some dual DTM straight through mufflers like magnaflows on a 3.8L Bonneville last night. Sounds good!!! I didn't think they were loud, but definately had a nice rumble.

Anyone have a smaller sound clip of the single mag? I'm on a webtv and downloading those will take 20 years.
If not, I have a question. Between the single mag and the 80 series, which would sound better with headers? I'm thinking the flowmaster would be wicked loud wouldn't it?

If I get a volunteer to host an Mpeg I have not only the sound but the video from a couple of track runs with a single Magnaflow.

It sounds great.....in fact last night I had a guy who's a mechanic here in town comment on how good it sounds. Very small block V8ish.... (is V8ish a word????)

So do you think the mags would be as loud as the flowmaster with headers? Everyone here says the mags are more quiet and mellow, but that's without headers.

It's quieter, but in a good way. It's deeper and has more rumble.

That sounds good to me. I've heard sound clips of the flowmaster and I love it. If I wasn't planning on getting headers it would be my choice, but I have a feeling that the mag will sound better with the headers (As in not be way too loud). Thanks all.

I'd have to agree with what everyone's saying. I've got headers, high flow cat, no resonaotor, SLP kit to the Magnaflow transverse muffler. It sounds very low, pretty loud. It has a beautiful sound, pretty rumbly.

Not to be ****y, but mine. Some would debate between TOG and S&S headers.....but basically best for HP, headers, high flow cat(not necissarily needed), 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust, magnaflow straight-through muffler.
