headlights "dry-rotting" ?!?

I have a 2000 gagt and the headlights are starting to get fine cracks in the clear plastic. It looks like the plastic is "drying out" and cracking. My consern is that when the warrenty runs out in a few months, they will crack and I would have to replace them. NOT CHEAP! Would this be covered under the warrenty? NEED HELP, PLEASE!

Take it in right now before it does run out. Tell them your concerns and hopefully they'll swap em. If not, take it to a different dealership and tell them the other wouldnt help :)

i had the same problem took it to 5 dealerships none of them "Saw" the crack so they wouldnt replace my lights plus they said it woulnt be covered wtf oh well..ive learned to deal with em...doesnt effect the light quality
