Is it bad - suspension

Is it bad to go with some standard struts when you do a lowering kit. it seems everyone goes for kyb's. why? oh andits a intrax drop if that matters.

i've had intrax springs on my stock struts for longer than i had the stock springs on 'em probably, and they're holding up fine. the struts will wear out a bit faster with lowering springs as opposed to stock springs, but unless it's bad and bouncy, your stock struts are gonna do just fine.
