So it says I should apply Zymol using a back and forth motion rather than circles. Can I apply it with a buffer? If so, how? Back and forth? Thanks

I wondered the same thing myself but in the end opted to use applicator pads to apply the zymol, a buffer to get it up. It kind of sucks though because it started to get later in the evening by the time I was done washing, drying and claying. So I was having to keep using the chamois to dry up the dew that kept setting on my hood and roof. Looks like I may end up having to repeat the whole process again if the zymol application turns out bad looking. All thanks to not having a garage, which leaves the hours to be out of direct sunlight limited to morning or early evening. If you choose to apply with a buffer I'd say to move the buffer back and forth(side to side/up and down) rather than a circular motion. That seemed to work for me when buffing it up. Good luck.

with Zaino no rubbing is required, you wipe on and wipe off, its not an abrasive polish.
Therefore, your answer is NO, its pointless to use a buffer.

I'm pretty sure he was asking about Zymol, not Zaino.
I wouldnt apply any kind of wax with a buffer. It wastes too much product. If you want to use it for rubbing compounds or taking the wax off, go for it, but just apply it by hand. Its really not that much quicker to use the buffer to apply anyways.

Actually, applying wax with a buffer is a great idea, and I do it fairly often. It really doesn't waste a lot of product, and it aids in making the application uniform. Try it if you like...Like I always say, YOU have to decide what is best for you!
