We usually pick a more central location...OCMD is a 2.5 hour drive would kinda suck to make that round trip in one day.

It definetly be for a weekend, not 1 day. Probly be fri/sat/sun. And with a later date like aug. people could take off work so we could all meet friday day and have a really nice drunken weekend. Beer + blazing hot sun = me sleeping. I been looking for a cheaper place to stay. If everyone who wants to go researches places I'm sure we could find a nice one (pool, arcade). It be for 2 nights BTW. Also plan for activities such as renting wave runners 75$ and go carts 15$. Lets call it GV @ OC

If you want to save a little cash shoot for end of august/beginning of sept, peak rates are july/august its not cheap down there no matter where you stay those two months.

Oh the dates are the 15th 16th and 17th. And remember to take off friday all day. Lets make a meeting point around 9am friday @ route 83 and 439 park and ride. I'll send maps to people going. Oh we should meet early (9) because then we can hit the beach friday and then check in at the hotel. You guys wanna brainstorm a hotel or should I just find 1?

Randy is in our club...he's in NY around the NJ border... we might be having a meet in the Allentown, PA area sometime... Well a break down of the $$$ would be 75$ wave runners, 15$ go carting, 8$ mini golf, Hotel (if say 6 people go) 80$ a person for the 2 night stay. And thats for a nice room. And if whomevers going brings munchies and crap (pony - Will) it would cut down on food.

I might be able to make that. My aunt and uncle have an apartment in OC, so if I can get a free place to stay, I'm in. The wave runners would be a bit pricey, but I'm in for go-carts and putt-putt all the way! :thumbs:
