Alright, what would be the best offset to choose with an 18x8 rim? here's the offset choices they have on this..
+33 +38 +43 +46

+38... stock is +42 (correct me if I'm wrong) and I don't think it would be in best intrest to go over the stock offset?

correct... if u want to go with a wider tire(235/40/18 or 245/40/18)... then ur best bet is to go with the +38's... the +33 will stick out like ghetto latino rides and the +46 will sit inside too much and most likely rub...

I thought the higher the offset the further the wheel sticks out

thanks .. good call guys.. :) higher offset = less lip... .lower offset more lip. I'm trying to find the perfect offset so that it fits the entire fender well perfectly..

you can get 18's that are lighter than stock rims

what he said....
I'm toying with different sizes, but I'm keeping an eye on weight, and types of tires I'm planning on running.
I'm still in search of drag wheels, but the tough part is I wanted to run some RAYS Engineering VOLK TE-37, but their price is a bit prohibitive.
I'm browsing the 5Zigen catalogue and they have some nice lightweight wheelies, that I dig.
AKA I might be selling my current *discontinued i might add* 17x7.5inch bronze 5Zigen Copse 5ZR wheels..
