busy busy week for me

Well I was originally going to take a vacation, but those plans fell through unfortunately..

first off, opinions, help, and criticism is welcome... gotta figure out if I'm goin on the right track here, biggest thing is with the streo..

After the fiasco with my dealer service manager, water leak, bcm, etc.. I finally got the car back. They never vacuumed out the water when testing and I got a nice surprise when I was doing some work that day

After that, I put the alarm back in and most of the dash trim, still waiting on the dealer and my 2nd new bcm.

Then I went on the leather install.. I got everything done, but still waiting for the headrests to arrive. Thanks again HighwayProwlerz for selling me your stock covers

While I had the seats out, I added some blue leds in the shifter.. instead of the incandsecent and theater gel combo I had goin on before

Cleaned up some of the underhood wiring, moved the aux fuse box and added distro to facilitate some upcoming things ..

Toyed with the led underbodies for a few. Where I have them mounted I can't aim them how I want to on the side and front, so I gotta figure out what I'm gonna do with that in the near future..

Pulled the wires needed for the upcoming switch panel that I've been working on forever, waiting for a few tools and it should be done in a week or two, hopefully. THe gray wires are for the strobes, the yellow and brown are in transit to the engine bay, the bundle of red is for the switches. I also got the strobes mounted in the angel eye fogs too

And the big project of the week.. got 80% of the stereo done. Ran into a snag, going to have to get the 405 repaired because of a bad channel. I have to fiberglass the sub box too.

awesome idea with the tinted rear reversies, i think i am going to rip that idea off this week

hey, any ideas on the led for the shifter?? i got the custumautoaccents.com "overlay" and its basically backasswards on how the shifter shows what gear you are in. so at night i blocks the light instead lighting up the one you are in and durning the day you cant tell. so a nice blue led would be nice....let me know seth.

The shifter just has 4 blue led's in series.. I did it while the console was out so it was super easy to get to from the underside.

If you want you can line the bottom of that little area with some foil tape, and use led bulbs maybe, that might do the trick ?? You'll stillg et some light concentration in the center where the bulb is tho..

..and the DRL stuff... well stay tuned. still collecting samples
