Luxury cars with cruise control modulated by radar....

Now that high end cars (Cadillac XLR off the top of my head) are coming out with cruise control with following distance modulated by radar, how will this affect my radar detector? What band is this technology? I would imagine it would have to be something different that your typical X, K, and Ka as to not interfere with police radar...

anyone got any info?
