engine sound

Like when I am at WOT around like 4k rpms I start to hear like ascrapping hissing noise almost like if there was dirt in my intake but there isn't b/c I have a K&N. So what is it?

A k and N isnt dirt repellant. Its worth a check.

hmm...not sure. But I'll tell you that I have it too. And I didn't notice it until I started running wires through the grommet on the driver's side...same with Brendan.

like running wires through the firewall, b/c I do have the amp wire through there. And I clean my airfilter every like 2 months depending on the weather and stuff. So it isn't my filter, I was thinking is it b/c I am running leaner or what. B/c my parents have an aztech and when I rarley drive it I hear the same noise too.
