Might buy a Cadillac

So I am considering dumping my beater car (1990 Ford Probe LX V6 5-speed) for a 1993 Cadillac Eldorado. Big 2 door car with decent performance. No no 300HP Northstar, just the OHV 4.9L 200HP 275 Ft.Lbs V8. Mag times say it's 8.0 to 60 and 16.1 in the 1/4. Doing some reading on Caddilac forums the heavier Seville runs low to mid 15's stock as does the Eldorado. 0-60 times are between 6.7 and 7.5 seconds stock in the real world. I'm not looking to buy the car for speed obviously, just for comfort in my 27 mile each way per day commute. I can't stand the sterio in the Probe. No matter how much $$ I spend (reasonable ammount, new deck and NICE speakers) I can't even get it to sound as nice as my STOCK sterio in my Huyndai Elantra, the car's interior (Probe) is terrible for sound.

What is it about Ford and stereos?? The combo seems to suck to me. And for some reason Ford has an emphatuation with placing the rear 6x9 size speakers right on the sides of the passenger seats in the back so that your passegers will get def in one ear when cranked up. :rolleyes:

My friend had a '93 T-bird that had that kind of ****ty setup and he upgraded to a 2003 Focus, so I expected it to be improved by then. I sit in the back, he cranks up the system, and what do ya know?? It was right next to me blasting my right ear. :rage:
