im in need of a new battery and i was wondering if a blue top will work for our cars. obviously it is made for a snow mobile or jetskii, but i was wondering cause it will look good in my engine bay, with everything else. i want the battery to work first before i start thinking if it will look pretty in my engine bay. if not, then red top is the choice for me.

If its for a marine application, its probably either a gel battery or a Deep Cycle. You need something that has plenty of Cold Cranking Amps (different from Marine Cranking Amps - which is used to measure Deep Cycle batteries). If I remember correctly, CCA is measured at -15 celsius, and MCA is measured at 0 celsius, or something along those lines.

Bottom line, get a red or yellow-top.
