restraightening the rubber piece under springs

when i got my springs put on i noticed the rubber pieces are not center and are half way off the plate, which i believe is cause this creaking noise if im not mistake when i turn. it is cause metal on metal to creak and its really annoying when its humid out or raining, cause moisture gets in there and what not. whats the best way of placing those rubber things back in. do i need to recompress the springs again and get an aligment? thanks
