First, some background:

Last weekend I disconnected my intake resonator and removed my MAF screen.

Anyways, last night I was driving around and my Service Engine Soon light came on. So I took it to Advance Auto Parts to have a free scan done. It came up that my engine was running too rich, and the guy said that one or more of my injectors might be bad. He cleared the code and all day today the light never came back on. Could it have just been my car adjusting to my "mods" or maybe just a mistake? I really can't think of anything bad that could come of too much fuel, so I'm kind of hesitant to have my mechanic (no, not really MINE, but we only take our cars to one guy) look at it if nothing is terribly wrong, but I don't want to hurt anything either.....

If you didn't disconnect the battery when you did it your computer may have had a problem adjusting to more air flow. I had a similar problem when I went to my Pro M MAF which has no screen. I had to make sure I got it down the CAI closer to the throttle body because the irratic air flow coming from the bend was driving the sensor crazy.

Too much fuel is not a good thing though...it'll clog your CAT and your O2 sensor. But I doubt that you're running rich...these engines actually tend to run a little lean.
