Moonroof wind deflectors

I have one on my SHO and I like it, but how are they on the GA's? Does it quiet the wind down when the roof is completely open or is it worse?

BTW, are you guys allowed to post racing stories?

no, racing stories are not allowed..

i don't even have a sunroof.. i just wanted to say that i think they look bad ass..

for some reason, i love when a car has the sunroof defletor thing, and the rain deflects on the windows.. just looks good.

The moonroof deflector quiets the noise a lot. It also deflects alot of the wind that would come in.

I would say the moonroof deflector doesn't look too bad when the roof is closed, but I prefer the moonroof without it. Mainly because when the roof is open, it doesn't look good. Our moonroofs go over the roof (spoiler style) and with the deflector, it looks kinda wierd.

I like getting the wind from the sunroof. It helps me avoid using my windows so they don't get scratched up by that crappy felt something or other.

I want to get one to cover the off center XM antenna on my car, it looks so crappy..... I am curious if it'll fit over it.... the antenna is pretty low profile so it should. I just think a deflector would look better. And I can't remove it cuz I don't want a hole in my roof and I may hook the XM up again someday.

I don't think the deflector will fit over the XM pod. The pod is right up to the windshield and the deflector is not mounted that far.

How big a hole is there??? It can't be that major, I'd rather remove the XM and cover it with a cap... How many people would see this "cap" ???? A lot less than notice the offset antenna...

It's a tiny hole I am sure.... enough to drop some wire through. But I'm sorta afraid I'll mess up the paint on my car if I take it off.... I don't know... I just know I hate it.
