ok guys/girls, this thread is going to be for the people who are interested in these procarparts silver faced and white faced indiglo gauges. for all the people that have these, dont tell us u like or dont like them, just tell us if u have had any problems with them. or tell us if you havent had any problems at all. this is going to be for the people undecided about buying these because of the good and bad comments about them. and this will be a guide for people to see what most people think about them.

i will start this off.

i have fitment issues with mine. their like 2 centimeters short of covering the stock cluster. love the color and the backround, but the fitment issue is just an eyesore.

These gauges are working just fine for me the best 45 dollars I have ever spent on gauges!!! The only lil problem I have is that I didn't line up the red gas gauge light over the stock correctly so that there is a little gap where red doesn't show!

Silver gauges:

Line up fine.

Need to buy GOOD double-sided 3m tape from somewhere such as Wal Mart and apply pressure on the gauges for a while to get them to stick. Otherwise, they won't work out for you.
You can't just smack the gauges on there with PCP's tape and expect them to stay.

Remove one needle by the speedometer.. there's no need to keep them both and make 2 holes in the gauges (applies to '00+; not '99 GTs).

PCP has terrible customer service (they don't get back to you) and is known for poor quality (the clear corners on my GP are from them and they condensate like there's no tomorrow).
I wouldn't buy from them unless they're the last option and you know what to expect.

i have the silver blue in my cav , i used the stock idoit light covers under the silver 1's so they all light up like the stock color wise , and from time to time the needles wold stop working cause the face would warp cause of the heat and the cold

i used a rubber adheasive to stik the face down on ,since then no problems

Mine don't line up well, don't light up all the time and the needles stick.

Based on the replies here, it seems to be more installer error than quality.

I agree...but there's no real consistency as to whether or not they're good or not. There's a pretty evencount of bad vs. good...i think more responses are need, UNC. My fear would be using some strong ass tape, then putting them on a little crooked, then trying to fix it, bending the damn things and having more problems then were I to leave it alone.

I see that most of you guys runnin these are either 99s or 2001... do you think since I have a 2000 it'll make any difference?

2000 wont make a difference.

the reason i did this thread is for aarongagt, cause he was undecided about people saying their crap and people saying their good, so i wanted to get all the gauge owners a chance to speak their mind about these. this will also help out the people looking into getting these.

im sure most people will post up. i know a few people that have them that have yet to reply to this thread. hopefully more people will chime in.

i know iceman has them, but he didnt relpy yet.

I love mine I have the silver ones......I had to redo mine a few times due to the speedo sticking but it's all good now......I do think the small gap between the speedo and idoit lights is alittle anoying but I was thinking about changing mine and just leaving the idoit light sections off.

I'm still glad I got mine.......everyone loves the way they look:D:D:D

Mine are a very very small bit off on the holes under the tach, and around teh odometer. barely noticeable, and definitely can't see it at night. Besides the glue I got on a little part of the face because I am clumsy, I'm 100% satisfied with these things... plus they match the other gauges I have ;)

I would be willing to bet the 2000's will fit the same as the 99. From what I can tell the only difference between the 99 and 00 is the fact that the 00 has the second needle stops.

The difference in the 01+ is that they are perfectly flat; whereas, the 99 and 00 speedo and tach are raised.

Aside from installation, my gauges arrived in POOR condition. There are scratches on them and dirt marks that had to be scrubbed off first. They looked like they were used, sent back to the company and then sent out to me. This company is very unprofessional.

Maybe i dont know what you mean by raised, but mine seem pretty flat all the way around...

the only prob i had was getting thin enough and strong enough tape to hold them in place.

Can't really tell in this pic, but the Speedometer and Tachometer gauges are raised up from the rest of the gauge. The Speedo and Tach, are both higher than the dummy lights.

In 2001 they get a new cluster design, and the speedo and tach are both at the same level as the dummy lights.

so if I have a 2000 and its raised, I shouldn't have problems right? Someone told me that its possible to put the gauges on, without worrying about recalibrating the needles (because they fit over?) Is that true?

Panacea

Since I have a 99 and have never seen a 2000's cluster, I do not know if it will fit or not. I would think it does, but who knows.

Look at my how-to it's broken down pretty well and has the installation process step-by-step.

And no, you don't have to remove or recalibrate your needles.
