Headlight Covers

has anyone here had any problems with driving around with GTS headlight covers on (or any covers, for that matter)? Whether it would be with cops or whatever.

I have AVS but pretty much the same thing. I haven't had any trouble at all with anyone taking them or with the cops.. pass them all the time and nothing.. even at night..

Yeah, I think some guy called wasispeeding was stealing a whole bunch of them... so I heard.

As with many mods, as long as you aren't doing stupid crap and driving like a normal person, they shouldn't care. They can use that as an excuse to pull you over since it's obstructing your view (cutting down visibility immensly). I never had any problems when I was using mine, but others have been pulled over.

Use your best judgement. If you think you won't get hassled, then do it. If you think you will. Don't!

No problem with mine. Have had them on for about 1 year. If I am driving outside the city at night I always take them off.

alright guys...thanks alot for the info. I think I'll get em, but only put them on when I'm in my hometown, or when I go somewhere special.

I have AVS black outs with silvers under them, little to no light escapes from them. I do get alot of looks from the local authorities, but never have been pulled over...knock on wood

I have GTS on mine and haven't had a problem yet. The only way they can steal mine is that they'd have to open the hood. I also keep on the fog lights to keep the visibility because they DO affect the visib. BTW I had the AVS and how does the stick on Sh(stuff) hold on? When I had on the AVS, one fell off constantly and I took it in to get my $$$ back!

I got the same ones and haven't had any problems either. If I know I'm gonna be out for the night I take 'em off though. Thats one less thing that I need a ticket for besides tint.

Actually mine clip on the the headlight...A friend of mine had the stickie kind and was not happy with them at all.
