Painted new side mirrors

I have a 2003 and unfortunately it has the dreaded alero mirrors. I am really considering getting them painted to match the car cause the ugly black is fading quick and it doesnt even match the car. Ive done a search on this and there really hasnt been any pictures of this done. Does anyone have the new side mirrors and pictures of them painted?

Mine is currently in the body shop getting the bumper fixed. I asked the guy to paint my mirrors to match. They're going to pull 'em off, paint and clear coat them for about $75. Not too bad.

I'll post pics up when I get it back. (Should be today).

whoa! those are way expensive! go to a junk yard man! they will usually sell both for like 40-50. tha's for 2, not 1!!

Actually i looked at the gmpartsdirect.com site and cant find anything. Grandampartsdirect.com doesnt even exist.

Here in Delaware. Called a junk yard and they were asking for $75 a piece!!! He also called around to locate anyone else that could get him those and they were asking $100 per mirror! Thats crazy.

I've tried pretty much everything possible to get my mirrors back to new condition. Nothing worked. Hence why I'm getting them painted while my car's in the shop.

Are the SE mirrors the same as the GT for 99-01. I thought they were. Gt's were just painted. Also they should fit on the 2003 gt correct? Its also hard to tell if these come with the mirrors too.

fit yours properly without modification to the part. Please research
parts that did not come on your vehicle from the factory to make sure
they will fit your vehicle. No one wants to be stuck with parts that
don't fit due to bad information.
