I love everything about my 2003 Grand Am but the side mirrors. I thought the mirrors used in the 1999-2002 models were much nicer. I found a few sites were I can get these mirrors fairly reasonable. Do you guys think this will be a easy swap? Do you think I will have any problem? Has anyone done this?

Thanks. I thought it was a simple swap out. I plan on ordering the mirrors tonight.

You also have to remove the door panel, which is no big deal. Instructions can be found in the Tech section of N-Body.Net

Do the Grand Prix GT/GTP Mirrors fit on the Grand Am . They look similar to the 99 - 02 GAGT, but I am not sure of them bolting up the same?

I remember someone comparing these before and it's not a simple bolt up. I believe the bolt holes were different and the actual shape of the mirror is slightly off.

I have the power mirrors. Will this be a problem?

I have had to take off my drivers side mirror twice now and both times I did NOT pull off the door panel. It is kinda tough to get the power mirror wire plugged back in but it can be done.

Power mirrors have wires on both sides.
You can do it without removing the panel, but you have to pull the panel back to reach down in to connect/disconnect the power. Easier/safer to just remove the panel.
