Just thought this might warrant its own thread...

I emailed Powerslot yesterday asking which pads to use....

My Email:
----------------------------------
I notice that you recommend Hawk brand brake pads, but they don't make them for my car.

Is there another brand that you also recommend?

If not, which type (ceramic, carbon metallic, etc) is best to use with the Powerslots?
-----------------------------------------

Their Response:
----------------------------------------
As long as you stay with a premium brand you will be OK. As far as the formula goes, we suggest staying away from ceramic, we are finding that ceramics tend to set up a vibration, that everyone thinks is warpage. Any other formula should be OK.

Still trying to milk a few more miles out of the rotors/pads I have since I have about $300 (labor, plus EBC, plus rotors) in the ones I have.

I have decided to go with the Performance Friction pads on PFYC.

I *HAD* the PFYC PF pads on my car with Powerslots and all I can tell you is be prepared to buy new pads very frequently! Chewed through them like butter!!! I am trying EBC GreenStuff right now. Not sure about longevity since they are still fresh, but will post results ...
