Tail Lights - Painted

Ice told me to search, well my sh**y laptop wont work if i try so sorry for wasting bandwidth. I want to clear my tails, and then paint the silver part. How bad will this affect light dispursion? Also, how much will the stock tail lights cost from a junk yard or else where? Thanks, Jon

I painted the lower portion of my tails black where the turn signals are. Reason being the yellow 3157s are bright as hell!!! By painting them black, it really made them easier on the eyes for other people. ECAP has his entire tail assembly painted black... looks pretty sweet in person. You will be ok though if you paint them.
