PFYC.com shipped my new Powerslot rotors last week (got about 33K out of the OEM rotors) and our resident brake expert was gracious enough to come out to my house to give me a hand (basically to make sure I didn't screw something up) installing them. I had the car up on jackstands saturday night so I could repaint the calipers and brackets prior to his arrival sunday morning. Since the job was essentially 99% done when he arrived, I wanted to make sure his trip out was worth the trouble. When I first got the 02, I had the PFYC rear swaybar installed and for some reason was getting a terrible clunking noise with it. So I took it out. Laying in bed sunday morning, I thought, might as well have another go at it.
I used the wonderful search button on the forum to find the Energy Suspension greaseable fittings and ran to the parts store. Luckily they had a set in stock so I snatched them up ASAP. I called Matt and asked if he could bring his grease gun. He said no problem.
Once the brakes were back on the car, we yanked the cheap OEM sway bar out and put the new (old) PFYC one in. Lubed the crap out of the fittings and took 'er for a test spin. Over some bumpy roads and no clunking noise. I guess it was user error (my fault) the last time it was installed.
Here's a few pic of the brakes
