? on Trans Am scoops for 99 GAGT1

Ok, here's what my mind is thinking..... I love the **** out of my GAGT1 and want to eventually put a S/C in it later this year. I do like the SC/T hoods but they just dont look mean enough for a GA w/ S/C and glass packs installed. I want to take my hood off, get some scoops from a '00 Trans Am at a junk yard and mount them to the old hood. I understand from a friend of mine that I will need to weld and grind it so it will fit straight, but it is feasible. And of course paint it blood red to match the car when its done. Somebody tell me if I should put the idea into "GO" mode or just scrap it and stick with the standard SC/T hood. Let me know what ya think.

I figured somebody had already done it, it looks freaking badass! However I was wanting to do the same thing but with the slightly larger and rounder scoops found on the '02 model.

I own an LS1 Trans Am WS6 and all the WS6 hoods 98-02 are THE SAME!
