How much heat can them things take. I have my old red set that im not useing and i wan going to put one under the hood....think i woudl melt it? it is going to be placed right above the fan blades

ive got 2 under my hood they lay right above the ram air by pontiac shroud and never had any problems. And the 2 by my muffler havent melted yet either. :thumbs:
