tinted windows is probably the best appearance mod without spending a ton of money.

bodykits, ram air hoods, racing stripes, lowering springs makes it look better, tint, fender stripes, little decals, or whatever ur imagination will take ya.

Aftermarket chrome rims would add some knockout looks, but they are expensive.

18s, intrax or h&r springs, 20% tint, take off your badges, and you have a totally new car.

For low cost modifications, badge overlays are a good way to change the look. I have a black 2K2 GT sedan and have red overlays from PFYC and Grafxwerks and they look great. Going to add red grill inserts to front. Changing stock headlights and fog lights. It has cost me less that $100 Canadian to change the look of the car with the overlays. Lights will only be about another.

I agree with others here that rims and ram air hoods etc are great but all depends on your budget.

Tint, vent visors, painted interior, gutter guard grills, cleared tails and HVAC knobs, reflective or shaved badges, maybe some small decals or graphics...that's the cheap stuff. If you wanna spend some serious cash, go with springs, rims, body kits, and some custom paint.

There are 2 body kits available. There is the *** (http://www.aedcentral.com/) and AAS Combat (http://www.andysautosport.com/). There are a number of sites that offer graphics for our car. I prefer GrafxWerks (http://www.grafxwerks.com/index.php). PYFC (http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=PFYC&Category_Code=GA) has a lot of nice things for our car also. There also is Custom Auto Accents (http://www.customautoaccents.com/default.htm) and Ultimate warrior racing (http://www.ultimatewarriorracing.com/). They have a fine assortment of interior and exterior mods. Well that should just about make you broke :D . Oh...I almost forgot Custom Grand Am (http://www.customgrandam.com/). They also have a nice assortment. With these mods plus a nice window tint, wheels, a grill kit or make one out of gutter guard, and a little imagination you can do anything. Dont forget about some nice interior painting also....

Wow, I like that AAS Combat kit. Not too flashy yet real sweet looking. Don't care for the big open middle part on the front bumper, like how the *** one has the middle section.
