Well, my track times were dissapointing. (well, kinda, considering I didn't empty all my crap outta it, and its a 4 banger) But a 5 speed should have done better then it did, I know it was faster at GAP02.

But I think my cat is clogged. Gonna put the ole laser temp gauge on it tonight. Actually, I hope it is. I have replaced the plugs, tune up, etc etc and it still hesitates and feels like something is holding it back.

Question I have, is, anyone else had a clogged cat at 103,000 KMS (~62000 MI) I know a rich condition would contribute to clogging of the cat, but AFAIK I am not running rich. (Altough I have had that lovely cat smell at idle on a cold motor since I got the car new)

well my track times were real slow too.....11.1 1/8th mile 2 dr 2.4 and i have about 63k miles...my car kinda hesitates sumtimes and feels liek sumthin is holdin it back...plus my times are alot slower than anybody elses with the 2.4...even the heavier new style GAs with the 2.4 are faster than me

Well, my cat wasn't clogged. Just learned to live with the fact the 2.4 is slow. hehe and even slower on really hot humid days.

I could have told you that from driving in both my bros car (and driving them). I floor it and move no where. Silly 2.4l

Slowness is the excuse for more mods ;)

Nah, not too concerned about it. Its my driver, I have 125,000 on it now. I may still work the second head and crap I have for it, but I think I am going to concentrate on building a race car again.

are you sure you re-installed 4 spark plugs and not 3?
