Hey guys,
I have a 01 GASE2 and im presently into the suspension mod mode. This weekend im installing new struts and STB's.I see on PFYC's website they have a rear sway bar for the 99+ GAGT's.Does anyone know from experience if that bar will fit onto my SE?There disclamer says it hasent been tested on the se's.If you dont think it will fit then where can i find a sway bar to fit my se?
thanks,
PAPAGA

It'll fit, and you'll notice an amazing difference with sway bars. Real quick, did I noticed you installed new struts, but no new springs?

You will need non-lithium marine grease for lubricating the bushings/brackets that attach to the frame. OTW you will get squeeks from the bushings. WD-40/Lithium is not recommended.

I have all the Eibachs, struts, stb's and swaybars you can get on My SE. They are AWESOME!!! Id highly recommend going to summit racing and purchasing their energy suspension polyurethane greasable bushings. That way you can re-grease without much hassle. If youve got any more questions PM me, the rear bar is prolly a 30 minute install tops.

yeah, don't get the lithium. trust me. i had some "stuff" in my dad's old gun and said, sure, this will work ok. when i had an ES bracket blow on me i noticed the bushing was being worn away inside due to friction and the grease reacting with the poly bushing. autozone has some good Mobil1 synthetic (red stuff). it works great.
also might want to consider going with the better poly ES bushings/brackets. the tnl bushings are nylon, i believe which squeak like mad even with grease.
happy suspension modding :)

Thanks for the heads up on the bushings and grease,I just ordered some greasable polly's from summit.Today i installed the new struts(monroes).Noticed a big difference in the stiffness over stock struts.I also went and had the wheels alligned but i think they did a crap job.Im getting a pretty good wheel shake at about 65mph which is a bummer cause i never had any shake with the stock struts.

Struts shouldn't give you wheel shake...they did a bad job on alignment.
