View Full Version : My SLP exhaust install today...

I went to a local muffler shop to have them take my stock exhaust off, hoping it wouldn't cost too much. First place I went to wanted $40. I said, '$40 to take off 3 bolts and make two cuts on my exhaust?' 'Yeah, what did you have in mind?' 'About 20.' Guy turns around and walks out the door... jackass
Went down the street and got it done for $20. Eat that AAA.
Install was a piece of cake. I spent around 2 hours installing it, lining up the tips and stuff. I've been driving my car around ever since I finished! I would recommend anyone with minor know-how to do this yourself.

Craftsman jack stands are on sale for $10 for a pair at Sears this week(at least around here). You can probably rent a sawzall from Autozone or just do what I did to get if off...

It's about time... What shop wanted to charge you $40 to take off the old exhaust?

AAA on 53th St across from Village Inn and DQ. Guy looked at me like I was crazy or something when I said it should only be $20.
