why would your stock one already be bad? Maybe gummed up, send some intake cleaner thru it

my wife will be ****ed....may be from over port and the plate not matching??? i hammered it to fix it but i think it was the back or plenum side that is screwed......where the iac valve opening is at...... i could take it to a machine shop and resleave it and get a new tb plate??? need to find prices....maybe that will be faster than buying one??? any info?

but isnt theres the same as stock....it was what i had on it already....just P & P......not bored and it also looks like the same Plate on it.....stock is 58mm and that i bet is 58.5mm like mine was..... i need 61 or 62mm ....but i do like the price.....i am sure no one will take my core!!!

Throttle Body for 1999+ 3400
- $119.95 (plus $100 core charge) -

that comes w/o the valves and throttle position sensor...maybe that justifies the price??

You can buy a brand new one from Rock Auto for about $190. Call 1-866-ROCKAUTO or order online at https://www.rockauto.com/applet.html

A 2000 is listed at about $190. They're different part numbers, but I don't see the difference.

I'm almost positive the 99 and 2000 TB is the same, however I believe in 2001 they switch to a different form of TB (doesn't have coolant lines). Too bad my dad is on his way home from work, I could call and ask him. He's a foreman for Delphi and makes our TB's :D

99 to 2000 tbs are different
they have a different IAC passage.
a 99 will work on a 2000 but a 2000 will not work on a 99
the car wont idle at all if you do this.
do you still have your tb?
if the shaft is fine I'll trade you a stock one for the cost of shipping.
all I need from the tb is the shaft so if the rest is bad it doesnt matter
or I can send you a used stock body and blade if you want then you dont have to worry about shippign back and forth
also I can get a new tb form a local dealer for arround 200
the new tbs have a new tps sensor and iac valve installed.

Or you can purchase a new TB from APOC. It's a totally brand new shaft and blade, not ported/sleved like other companies (cough dr.speed cough). Check it out at www.americanperformanceofcolorado.com they're badass.

Ok my new TBs you the stock shaft/linkege assembly
the body and plate are disgarded. so I can send you a stock body and plate or just trade you your tb for a used stock tb.

Sending you a body and plate would save shipping of yours back to me.
I have both 99 and 2000 bodies laying arround with no shaft/linkege on them.

Damn dude that sux. Well quality comes with one downside: waiting.....for now at least.
Soon you'll be caught up in orders and shipping out the next day, that'll be nice.

If your TB is still ok and you're having high idle problems, you may want to try this:

Couldn't hurt, right?
