borla boomer series?

I was just looking at borla exhausts from borla.com and i came across the "boomer" series. Does anyone know if this series is any better (isound or hp) than the regular universal borla exhausts?

The Boomer Series is a waste of money in my opinion unless you have a true dual V8 or a I4. On an I4 it sounds like an annoying farting hamster, but a little deeper then some of the ones you hear... For the V8 it gives it a low roar... As for the GA's V6, they don't make one for it... unless of course you get a new exhaust system from someone who makes a new one without using the single muffler that splits. As for a Borla Muffler, check if they make one from their XR-1 lineup... that'd be your best choice if you want a muffler. I know you are concerned about price, but with car parts, you get what you pay for, the best costs the most 99% of the time.
