I have so many questions I don't know where to start O.K. I'll go one by one please HELP ME!!
1. What is a MP-62 supercharger?
2. How much is it?
3. Where can I get it?
4. What do I have to do to the engine to take the supercharger and the nos?
5. How much HP all together does it add to it?
6. What does the supercherger offer as far as power and performance?
7. IS IT WORTH IT?
Please let me know as soon as you can please!!, thanks so much for any info.

I can answer these two.
The MP-62 is the model designation for an Eaton/Roots model 62 supercharger. It is a positive-displacement air pump, with a inside volume of 62 cubic inches.
You can get it through Magnacharger, the sole distributor of Eaton/Roots superchargers.

I'm haveing a problem with mine that I just put in acouple weeks ago. Everytime I rev the engine in park even past 1000 rpm's and let off the pedal real quick the engine will stall. Like it's not getting enough air. It also stall's when im in 4th gear but at low speed's and come to a stop. other than these two problems the car runs fine. I have tried hooking up the vacuum lines from the map like Kman said but it still does it no matter what configeration I have it. I'm just about to rip the damn thing out and sell it. So if ANYONE has any idea's please share them.

Is this constant or just an every now and then issue. It will happen for a little while and then stop as the car's computer begins to get used to the SC's extra flow.
BTW - Is your MAF ported?

Well Matt covered some of these but here goes !!!
1) MP stands for Magnuson Product, and the 62 means that it produces 62 cubic inches of air per revolution.
2) You can no longer purchase the kit for our cars !!!!! but you can buy just the s/c and have everything else custom made. Alnost 4 yrs. ago magnuson was going to sell me just the M-62 for under $1,200, thats without all the piping.
3) I covered that in #2
4) Simply change your spark plugs to TR6's with a 0.35 in. gap
5) My guess would be 60-75 HP realistically, and anywhere from 35-150 HP from the juice.
6) Well power wise it's like adding 62 more cubic inches to your motor, but all at once when you hit the gas. Performance wise it's great to have. It is always there and it's pretty damn reliable. Our Veteran Engineer ..SPOON has put like 80,000 miles on his car with no major problems with the engine.
7) You beet your ass it is
"IT'S NOT YOUR FATHER'S SUPERCHARGER!"
"The Eaton 3rd Generation and the Eaton/Magnuson 4th Generation superchargers are the next step in positive displacement supercharger design. Eaton superchargers have become the world standard due to their efficiency and durability, and are virtually the only original equipment superchargers in use today. The rear inlet, front discharge design of the Eaton supercharger set new standards compared to the venerable "Roots" designs, and now, the hybrid Eaton / Magnuson 4th Generation designs have raised the bar again.
The MP series 4th Generation superchargers are the result of hundreds of hours of flow bench research and test stand evaluation added to years of experience manufacturing in excess of 1,000,000 superchargers. This research has resulted in inlet and outlet configurations that bring the volumetric efficiency into the mid 90% range. Adiabatic efficiency, delta temperature, and power requirements have also been dramatically improved.
The MP series 4th Generation superchargers feature a built in bypass assembly that greatly facilitates packaging for aftermarket supercharger systems. This bypass virtually eliminates parasitic power loss during part throttle operations."

Well i can't speak for all the Supercharged guys out there, but my car did the same thing for like 2wks or so. The car has to adjust to the mod. Jaketuff had called me after i installed his and was asking the same question, and after awhile it just went away.
Our recovery rate isn't the greatest, i mean when giving your car gas quick and then letting off it wants to stall. I know you said you checked all the lines before but try and try again.

I appreciate all the information you guys gave me that was very cool. I just have a couple of more questions if that's O.K. with you guys.
1. If they don't make these superchargers anymore then is there like a turbo for our cars?
2. If I do decide to put NOS in it, what do I have to change to make it hold a 150- to a 300 shot, I know I'm gonna spend some money and I'm ready but what do I need to change so the engine can take so much power? like cylinders, pistons what?
3. I need to know if you guys know where I can buy some aftermarket supercharger or turbo kit if possible, maybe add another 300HP what do you guys think?
I appreciate all the feed back possible thanks guys.

There is a centifugal supercharger kit available at www.rsmracing.com , but it's more expensive.

Well, there is a Turbo in development for kit form, for the 3400. You can read the info on it in the boost forum here. It is being tested by "Ohpspe." (sp?) He declares that it can make close to 300 HP, but a lot of work is needed to accomplish that. Best bet PM him or start a thread on it.
For the 2.4L there is the picracing.com turbo kit coming very soon, if not it is out already.
Expect to pay about $5k to around $10k depending on the setup, 300HP demands a new tranny, and that is a hunk of the cost above...
